The History

The Vineyard of the Laguna was planted in 1999 by the Vineyards in Mexico, specifically by churches in Fresnillo and Mazatlán. It has been supported by the Mexican Vineyards and the Vineyard of Spring (in suburban Houston) since then, and has been reaching out to the poor and needy in a growing number of neighborhoods.

The Ministry

The Vineyard of the Laguna began by ministering to those who were hungry for God in a neighborhood called "Tierra Blanca" (which means "White Sand", describing the dusty area where it's located). The ministry now has regular Sunday services, Saturday ministry time for kids, and small group Bible studies - not only in Tierra Blanca, but also in 3 other neighborhoods. They also perform outreaches to other areas using films, skits, games for kids, and other methods.
