Bibles

Our supply of Bibles has run out because we've given them away to all the new people that are getting involved! If you'd like to stock us up again, the best way we know to do it is to order a case of 24 complete Bibles from the International Bible Society [(800) 524-1588 or www.IBSDirect.com].

Our preferred translation for beginners is the NVI (Nueva Version Internacional), which you can find in the section for Spanish Scriptures. They have paperback evangelism Bibles for about $70 a case.

You can send the Bibles to an address in McAllen, TX and we will have them delivered from there in order to avoid problems with shipping them internationally. We'll post the address here, but in the meantime please email us and we'll get it for you.

Nationalizing the Van

Through the wonderful generosity of Jim and Beverly Ohlman, God provided a 12 passenger van for the church here in the Laguna. It's wonderfully useful, both for activities here and also for taking people to conferences in other cities.

Up until now it has been in Mexico with a temporary permit linked to our personal visas, but the Mexican government is temporarily giving us the opportunity to nationalize it. This means we'll be able to register it in the name of the church, and it will make a lot of paperwork and insurance easier and cheaper.

The whole process of nationalizing the vehicle, including import taxes and all the other paperwork, costs about $700. Please contact us if you'd like to help with that.
