The Home Group in the Catorce Neighborhood
These are some photos from the home group in the Catorce neighborhood, taken either at Juan or Beto's house between May and July 2006. We hope you can "get to know" people a little better through their photos. We encourage you to browse through them, and read the comments below each photo to find out more about the wonderful things God is doing in their lives! :)

Meche praying for Pera * Meche praying for Esperanza (known as Pera). Bernardo (goes by Berna) and Pera got involved through the Divine Healing Conference in May. Berna is a cousin of Beto, Juan, and Cheche, and Juan shared with him and invited him to the conference. Pera had some pretty serious health problems (we never quite got the details of exactly what the problems were), but through the prayers at the conference and the home group she was healed. Berna and Pera, who came from a very strong Catholic background, are now wholeheartedly seeking God and trying to serve Him in any way they can. For example, they're doing a great job of helping with the Kids Feeding Program that we started in August. * 1508 x 1114 * (1.21MB)

Sarai * Sarai, one of the granddaughters. Sarai is the daughter of Sara, and we put her picture here mainly to ask you to pray for her, because Sara's husband, Gustavo, has some pretty serious problems and so Sarai has a tough home life. * 1116 x 1290 * (999KB)

Soledad and Dona Maguey * Soledad and Dona Maguey. Dona Maguey is the mother of the clan (Beto, Juan, Cheche, and Fili), and Soledad is a friend of the family who got involved in the home group through the Divine Healing Conference in May. It's really amazing how God is using her, because even though she's new, she prayed for her dad when he was really sick and God healed him! * 1220 x 805 * (766KB)

However, she doesn't have a guitar, so she often takes the chance to practice on Larry's guitar at the end of the home group.
